PickTheReality.com is an independent, fan-created platform for reality television prediction pools — sometimes referred to as fantasy pools or office pools. The platform allows users to select participants at the start of a season, earn points as episodes unfold, and compete with friends, family, or coworkers based on prediction outcomes.

The platform supports prediction games for select reality competition series. Any show names referenced on this site are used solely to identify the subject matter of user-created games.

Our Story

PickTheReality.com grew out of a shared passion for reality competition television. The idea began when a daughter, tired of managing friendly prediction pools in spreadsheets, imagined a more streamlined and enjoyable way to run them. She asked her father, a former software developer, if he could help bring that idea to life.

With a full-time job and more than a decade away from active development, he spent evenings relearning modern web technologies and gradually built the platform from the ground up over the course of a year. What started as a small family project became a fully functioning site created piece by piece.
