Our Story

We’re a father-daughter duo: he develops the website, and she is your scorekeeper.

Before PickTheReality, we ran our reality TV pools using spreadsheets. We loved watching the standings change and the competition unfold during each episode, but we wished more people could share in that fun. Friends wanted to start pools with their own families, but we didn’t have the time to score every group separately.

Then we realized the same scoring rules could work for everyone if the episodes only had to be scored once. We talked through the idea and, together, created PickTheReality and brought it to life so that more reality TV fans can enjoy some friendly competition with their family and friends—without anyone having to manage the scores themselves.
